Hello world. My name's Marian. pronounced as (night mare + du rian). Alternatively, you can choose to call me maryanne.

i work in the entertaintment/service industry (had and soon to be). I wont say i love it and wont say i hate it either.

I have a soft spot for furry animals hence my aspiration to become a vet, which sadly, has not been realised.

i talk alot. so much that i even talk in my sleep.oh, and i ocassionally hum music when im sleeping too. i'm currently attached!! to my kelee for 3 years (: . oh, and i hate celery btw.

okae im finally gona blog bout japan since ive got so much free time (:

lets start with day 1.

first off.. the plane ride was disastrous. it was a 6 hr flight but i only managed to sleep for 15 mins throughout the entire flight! i was like a zombie when i reached japan. soo shagged.
we set off from sg at bout midnight reach there at 7 plus am? yea

sadly these trees are actually sakura trees! jus that since winter is coming all the leaves n flowers have withered leaving the trees all BARE T_T imagine if its all in full bloom. absoultely stunning. sadly it isnt.


war memorial shrine for WWII soldiers. the on e that koizumi visits yearly but its out of bounds to ppl.

signboard says its out of bounds to wai ren (outsiders) only ppl in the association are allowed to enter.




this is some monk beggin for donations/money at the park. he looks kinda scary cause he starts chanting n singin some weird song when u walk by. kinda jus reminds me of bleach like- as if he is gona take out his hat n coat anytime n prepare for a battle LOL

it tastes rrly dif from sg ones. surprisingly i stil prefer sg takopachi compared to the real one from japan. hahaha dont ask me why. but they rrly have alot of skill.. their takopachi has alot of air inside lil bit of flour n chunk of octopus. sg one is like jus LOADS of flour to make a ball. they can create a ball out of flour n air :o funny thing is it has so much air inside that when u poke into it , it actually flattens hahahha.



this is my sis. HAPPY HAPPY with her green tea ice cream. IT TASTE DAMM DAMM DAMM GOOD. plus eating ice cream in that kinda weather.. one word SHIOK.

bloody universal studios was more frustrating than fun. we waited freakin THREE FULL HOURS to take the stupid spiderman ride. but man was it good.


after that we proceeded to a street in osaka. to experience their nightlife.


the street divides into two here. turn left and ure headed into their street filled with pubs and clubs. turn right and u are in their orchard road. loads of high end stores and low end stores all together. it looks like bugis street

AND I FOUND AN INTERESTING SHOP SELLING INTERESTING THINGS...GUESS WHAT THEY SELL............

TAKOPACHI/TAKOYAKI!!

BUT NO ITS NOT THE FOOD. ITS KEYCHAINS AND TOYS N ALL!! its like madness there cause everything they sell there is related to takopachi! CRAZY


everything im pointin to is tako pachi. pencil pens keychains etc.


even the carpet monster (i dont know its name ) is wearin a TAKOPACHI SUIT!!
they did the same thing to hello kitty but i din take a pic down of it.

i neeeda make a new blogskin. for myself and gerri. just realised the blog skin i madde for gerri is pretty whacked. and about japan. im jus too lazy to load the pics. i have so much to say. so many pic i wana post just so little time.

im really wonderin if i shld still take up marche's job offer when they call for trainin.

cause its like since balcony is night shift. i have the whole morn n afternoon free.

wldnt hurt if im workin in marche.... RIGHT?

then again. i wonder.

ive gota stay longer at balcony to see how.

but ive gota say i rather prefer standin at one spot :P like marche. ppl prob will jus come up to me order their food. i make it for them n pass it to em. or jus help them fill up their soup bowls. easy peasy. n marches so huge. if u run somewhere to skive nobody knows :P

plus. I SO WANA MAKE CREPES. AND EAT THEM.

ok mayb not the eating part cause my salary will get deducted if im caught eating crepes. or squezzing custard into my mouth.

fact is i wana blog bout japan.

problem is picutres are too many. lazy to resize n upload them to photobucket.

so....

until ive edited all the photos (which is bout a million of them) then u'll see me bloggin bout japan. or mayb ill do it in chapters.

plus the trip to japan has made me realised loads of things.....
i look back. i remember. and some days i dream of it. n i just wana see him for one last time.
